1980 | Volkswagen Passat GLI 1.6

Nice and rare 44 years old Passat 110 HP GLi is for sale. It was produced in the last model year with the most powerful engine. The same engine as in the legendary Golf I GTi.

The interior is in good condition. Seats are original and the covers are nice. One fault inside is some cracks on the dashboard plastic, due to the years and the heat.

The car is completely driveable. The oil and the filters were recently replaced. The breaks and the suspension was repaired.

To reach a very good historical car status, the wheel-drives and the sides of the underbody will need reparation soon, because some rust already occured and there are some not professional welding on it. It doesn't affect the usage yet, but needs to be fixed to the reach the best status.

That price of the car reflects that some work will be necessary soon on the underbody.

The car has Hungarian papers and technical exam. It is in Hungary, but a meeting point can be fixed close to Austria as well.

The car was imported to Hungary at the early 90's and has the same owner for 3 decades until I bought it last year's spring.
