A low mile unrestored time warp example having covered just warranted 59,000 miles from new backed up by MOT certificates over the years showing incremental mileage increases. The current owner an engineer by trade has babied this car & lavished care & attention upon it as evidenced by the extensive file of invoice for works done to the car & assorted parts.
The car is finished in its original & rare colour of Black to the outside with cinnamon leather to the interior as attested to by the heritage certificate. The paint is in very good order with no bubbling or corrosion evident at all. The underside pictures are very well worth viewing & tell the story of a low mile car that has always been garaged. The interior has had a deep clean under the current owners tenure & has come up beautifully. The headrests are replacement items as the originals had collapsed as they tend to do on all these V12 E Types. A large webasto sunroof slides easily open for summer motoring.
Recent Works include the following: Full stainless steel exhaust, Upgraded alternator, New discs & pads all round, New Blockley tyres, New Chrome wire wheels, New Shock Absorbers all round, New Carpets, New Radiator, Front & rear rubber suspension bushes replaced, New Clutch, New gear box bearings & oil seals, Twin Kenlowe fans with rheostat, and much more. An additional oil pressure gauge has been installed under the bonnet which provides a check to the in dash gauge as the pressures read identical when the engine is running.
The car comes with its original keys & jaguar brochures as supplied with the car when new. This in not a concours car but rather a very very tidy largely original low miles example that has had no expense spared to keep it in tip top driving order. It drives beautifully on the road pulling away in top gear smoothly from walking pace in a way that only these V12 Jaguars can.
