With almost every part either replaced or reconditioned, this Big Healey has been very smartly restored.

You get a clean semi-rally look allied to the knowledge that restoration took place on a clean, almost rust-free body and chassis. Inside, the cabin has been wonderfully finished and of course, the undoubted star of the show is that big, beefy six-cylinder engine.

We feel for the vendor; having restored this Healey he deserved to have the opportunity to enjoy it. Sadly, life got in the way and having had to surrender his driving licence that’s no longer possible. That means it’s now ready for a new home.

There is a bit of post-restorative fettling to be done; that paintwork needs attention, the hood stretched and used a few times more, and the car driven.
