This fantastic Ford Mustang Coupe comes to us in exceptional condition with an upgraded 302 engine, an upgraded fuel delivery system, wonderful Wimbledon White paint, and Beige and Blue contrasting interior. PYY 135D embodies all that you would want from a classic American muscle car, a roaring V8, an immaculate and comfortable interior, and a gorgeous exterior.

PYY 135D had spent the majority of its life in America before coming to the UK in the early 2000's. On arrival in the UK the Mustang was put through an extensive body-off restoration with photo record. The photos show the car being fully stripped back to the bare bodyshell and having the panels prepared and painted. With the chassis also being prepared and painted, the brakes and suspension were then built up. With the body on, all the mechanicals built up, the interior was then re-fitted and the car completed to a show standard.

Since the rebuild, PYY 135D has seen some staggering performance upgrades, a 302 4.9L engine was fitted with Edelbrock Performance cylinder heads, Edelbrock inlet manifold, and a performance camshaft. The fuel delivery system was uprated with an electric fuel injection conversion kit by Summit Racing. The ignition system has also been converted to an electric unit by MSD as well as an MSD digital timing control module. For the interior, a Dakota digital dial dash was installed which is modern in its function but period in its looks. A B&M gear selector kit was fitted with a Hurst pistol grip shift nob giving it a sportier feel. A Borgeson power steering kit was fitted which makes steering, maneuvring effortless. The arm rest provided by Classic Consoles provides even more comfort for the driver making it more suitable for long distance journeys.

To take this car out on the road is fantastic fun, the car starts on the button and performance is first class. The power output from the 4.9L V8 is very impressive and smooth, and the gearbox also feels very strong and correct. The main lovable characteristics of an American muscle car are the noise and the feel of the torque, and this Mustang excels in both departments
