Iconic model year for Buick, this is the top-of-the-line 76C Roadmaster Convertible. A true American Classic that has style and presence. This has the late in the modelyear chrome ‘Sweepspear’ side molding.

This Roadmaster Convertible comes out of a long term ownership. It is a very original car, never been comprehensively restored. Still carries Lucite paint on it body, the paint is showing its age. Very solid car, no rust or bondo issues, except for some very small rust spots on the passenger side door. Solid frame and floors, also in the trunk. The chrome is excellent. Beautiful grille, side moldings and ‘Ventiports’. The red leather interior present very well. The dashboard and gauges are great. The convertible has been replaced with correct material and carries the small glass rear window. The top and windows are power operated by the Hydro-Electric system. The 150bhp ‘Fireball’ 320 CID overhead-valve inline eight-cylinder engine runs great as expected from these Buicks. Dynaflow transmission works fine and is as smooth as it gets. The tires are correct BF Goodrich Silvertown 8.20 x 15, in the trunk is a new Firestone whitewall that has never been on the road.

This Roadmaster was owned by an inventor and engineer from Connecticut from the 1950ties all the way to 2024 when sold at the estate. Always garaged and sparingly used, this is now a rare and very special car. European import duties are paid.
