Restored Austin-Healey 100/6 Overdrive fitted with the powerful 3000 Mk III engine with the large SU carb's and central shift gearbox with overdrive. Includes recent service history, heritage certificate and various invoices. Newly delivered in San Francisco and in the Netherlands since 2019. The previous owner took the time to tackle everything tip top.

The exterior looks very cool, the car was repainted in the Netherlands in the beautiful Austin-Healey duo tone colour ‘Colorado red and Black’ including sporty black spoke rims. The Big Healey has been professionally polished and the paint looks good with some signs of use.

During the restoration, several technical items were modified to improve reliability such as a heavy duty radiator, front disc brakes and a new wiring harness with main power switch. The strong and smooth BJ8 engine and central shift gearbox are also nice and valuable updates. A stainless steel exhaust was recently fitted, and the black spoke rims with Vredestein Classic tyres provide a nice contrast. A few things have also been addressed recently, such as a new pin in the steering box and new throttle pedal controls. There are very neat side windows present and the black hood is nice and tight and closes like new.

The interior is beautiful, the dashboard is handsome and the seats are newly padded and upholstered in black leather and red piping. The classic original steering wheel sits well in the hand and the finish is fine. And also very important; this Healey drives great, the strong 6 cylinder sounds beautiful and the overdrive works flawlessly. What a super Healey this is!

It is rightly an iconic British sports car; beautiful design, a very strong engine with a great sound and very stylish. Especially in this beautiful duo tone colour with black spoke rims, it is a rare beauty. And a fair price, just compare it on the internet.
