Description

In the 1920s, Bayerische Motoren Werke was forced to switch from aircraft engines to motorcycles – a golden move, as it soon turned out. This new segment not only provided BMW with a way out but also a lucrative new venture.

In 1983, BMW launched the K100, a powerhouse featuring the famous “Flying Brick” engine. Perhaps not the most beautiful, but certainly the most reliable. And now, at Cool Classic Club, we have a very special version: a fully customized Scrambler-style model. Why is this K100 unique? The paintwork was done by a professional atelier, and under the tank lies a rebuilt 987cc four-cylinder engine with new fuel injectors for optimal performance. Only high-end components were used, including: a YSS rear shock absorber, a fully overhauled front fork, Continental Twinduro tires, Brembo brakes, and a powerful, modified 4-1 exhaust with dB killer, without compromising its strong sound. Additionally, parts such as the water pump, radiator, gaskets, timing chain, and hoses have all been replaced to keep this “Flying Brick” in top shape.

Ready for new adventures? This unique K100 is registered in the Netherlands and eager to hit the road!
