1959 | Volkswagen T1 Samba 1.2
Description
This iconic VW T1 Samba is the most sought after of all the VW’s buses.
The 23-window bus was originally designed as a vehicle to tour the Swiss Alps, offering up to nine passengers’ maximum visibility, but was quickly adopted by families, campers and members of the counterculture. The van features a collection of unique windows including eight skylights, two curved rear windows, a retractable skylight, and a coveted split windshield.
Produced between 1951 and 1967, the first-generation was budget-friendly with its VW beetle mechanics.
This example received a nut and bolt restoration including a completely overhauled 1600 CC VW engine and is ready to be enjoyed by you (and 8 friends!) at the beach, at your favourite music festival or at your local cars & coffee!
