Recently fully restored 1962 Triumph TR3A in Royal Blue. This TR is an absolute masterpiece, 1 of the neatest TR3s!

Restoration process

The car has been completely body off restored over the past few years. The chassis has been blasted, shouldered and then painted. This chassis has been protected for life against all weather conditions. All seams and hollow spaces have been treated before and after assembly, so rust has no chance. Really all loose parts have been sprayed in paint, so rust is almost impossible on this car.

Sheet metal and colours

The sheet metal has been professionally tightened and painted in Royal Blue.

Engine and Mechanics

The engine has been completely overhauled to fully original specs. In the process, the cylinder head was modified and made suitable for unleaded petrol. The SU carburettors have been completely overhauled and a stainless steel exhaust system has been fitted. The chrome work has all been renewed and the entire electrics have been renewed. Nothing has been spared. The gearbox has been overhauled. Of course, the clutch set has also been completely replaced. 72-spoke Dunlop wire wheels have been newly fitted with 185-15 Vredestein sprint classic tyres. the car has been fitted with electronic ignition, a power starter and converted to negative ground to avoid malfunctions.

Interior

The interior is equally new all round, beautiful Classic bucket seats in black leather, with a matching zwatre panel set and blue carpet set. The cockpit frame and dashboard is upholstered in black leather. An original steering wheel gives the car the lovely 60s look.

Documentation and Export

The car is completely matching numbers. There is a whole file available of the restoration with bills and many photos. The car is registered in the Netherlands. This makes it easy to register it abroad.
