TECNOKART TECNO K250 – 1967

The Tecnokart Tecno K250 from 1967 presented here is a rare and significant example of Tecno’s engineering expertise, one of the most renowned Italian manufacturers of racing cars and karts from the 1960s.

This vehicle has undergone a complete restoration by the specialized workshop F.lli Finelli Racing, with both the bodywork and mechanical components meticulously refurbished. The lightweight fiberglass body is powered by a Ducati 250cc motorcycle engine, which has been fully disassembled and overhauled.

The Tecnokart Tecno K250 is officially registered in the Tecno chassis register under number T00143. A detailed photo book documents the various stages of the restoration, highlighting the high quality of the work performed.

The vehicle has an impressive history: it was owned and raced by the renowned Mickel Rocket Racers Team in the USA. Furthermore, the Tecnokart Tecno K250 is well known in the ASI, ACS, and ASS communities and was displayed as a guest of honor at the Italian Speed Festival 2023 at the Misano World Circuit.

In the 1960s, Tecno was one of the leading manufacturers of single-seater race cars for Formula 850, Formula 3, and Formula 2, as well as karts. Many famous drivers, including Clay Regazzoni, François Cevert, Ronnie Peterson, Arturo Merzario, Pedro Rodriguez, and others, achieved great success with Tecno vehicles.
