Description

1934 Talbot AV105 Three Position Drophead Coupe ARE34
Chassis number: 35488
Registration number: ARE34
Rare & beautiful. These Talbots were a serious perfomance car in their day with with tuned versions producing up to 125hp from the 3 litre six cylinder engine. Developed under the supervision of Georges Roesch they were particularly successful on the racing circuits of the 1930's, having been developed with perfomance in mind.
This beautiful AV105 wears versatils three position drop head coachwork & is in simply impeccable condition thought as a credit to its owner. The car has been the recipient of a full & thorough restoration to put it into the current show winning condition we find it in today.
Paint is a deep orange over black & is first rate throughout. The hood is like new & of Black Mohair. To the interior is beautifully finished pale brown hide to all seating surfaces. The engine was fully rebuilt at the time of restoration & as a result starts readilly & pulls strongly being far quicker then an equivalent Derby Bentley.
Very useable, the car can be operated fully closed, half open or fully roof down making for a capable grand tourer. Masses of paperwork come with the car attesting to the monies spent to put it in the condition we find it today. It is both UK registered & Europen registered with European taxes paid.
