The Tiger started life as the humble Sunbeam Alpine, which had been introduced in 1959, a pretty sports car from from one of the Rootes Group’s popular brands, but it easily felt the four cylinder engine couldn't deliver the power to release the full potential of the car, so a bigger motor was sought.

The Tiger’s previous owner spent a huge amount on restoration, having it stripped and sandblasted back to bare metal, repairs were undertaken before lead loading and repainting in the beautiful midnight blue we see today, as well as the inside seats being retrimmed.

With the pretty style and handling of the classic British sports car, and the sledge hammer grunt of an American muscle car, the Tiger combines power and grace perfectly.

After such an extensive restoration running to many thousands of pounds this is virtually a new car, and with only 7000 built an opportunity to own one of the best examples of this rare sports car.
