In the mid to late 1970s, the legendary Porsche 911 faced uncertainty as Porsche considered replacing it with the V8-powered 928. Despite its accolades, the 928 struggled to generate excitement. Then came Peter Schutz, the visionary CEO who recognized the 911’s appeal and championed the 911 SC from 1978 to 1983. Porsche engineers revitalized the model, leading to the debut of the 911 Carrera 3.2 in 1984. This model featured an 80% reimagined 3.2-liter flat-six engine with 231 horsepower, making it the most commercially successful 911 ever.

This stunning convertible 3.2 Carrera is one of the very last and finest examples of the G-series, with only 2,787 units produced between August 1988 and July 1989. First registered on March 28, 1990, it radiates elegance in its striking Guards Red finish, complemented by a black leather interior. With a beautiful black fabric top and original Fuchs alloy wheels, this Porsche truly embodies timeless style. Its G50 manual gearbox, celebrated for its robustness, captured the hearts of its first owner and set the stage for exhilarating drives. After two decades of careful stewardship, this gem found a new home with Evy on December 7, 2020. A devoted Porsche enthusiast from Brugge, Evy immediately embarked on an extensive service in May 2021, replacing all the rubbers enabling countless future adventures to come! Evy also installed a period-correct Blaupunkt Bremen radio with DAB functionality, perfectly reflecting her love for road trips and the open road!

The stunning Guards Red paint is in such pristine condition that you could almost mistake it for a work of art! There’s not a trace of rust or bubbling on the arches, and the paint is virtually free of any love marks or scratches. The original Fuchs alloy wheels are free of any curb damage and are presented in a deep black shine! Step inside, and you’re greeted by a classic 1980s Porsche interior in impeccable condition. The iconic dials are in excellent original condition, the electrically adjustable sports seats provide outstanding support and are wrapped in fresh bolsters free of any cuts and tiredness. The iconic dashboard has not been sun damaged and is still as tight as the day it rolled out of the factory. Lowering the roof is a breeze, thanks to a faultless one-touch operation. The fabric top is a rich black, provides excellent isolation and has zero sagging inside!

This remarkable 3.2 Carrera 911 convertible is fully equipped for carefree driving, already inspected and approved until March 28, 2026. The car includes its original full-size spare wheel, additionally, a comprehensive collection of invoices showcases Evy’s commitment to preserving this beauty, highlighting the extensive work she has done to keep it in impeccable condition.

The Carrera 3.2 is free from modern electronic aids, offering a raw, engaging drive. The absence of driver assistance means you’re fully connected with every turn of the wheel and press of the pedal. The weight of the clutch and steering adds to the excitement. The rear-engine, rear-drive layout comes alive, with direct steering and intoxicating communication. This Carrera 3.2’s suspension is surprisingly stiff and tight, but holds its composure beautifully, even without a roof. As you power out of corners, the rear digs in and its naturally aspirated powerhouse provides the smoothest of powerbands and feels extremely healthy! With the roof down, you’re enveloped in the glorious sound of the air-cooled flat-six engine - an invitation to push it further.

Ready to make unforgettable memories? This stunning 3.2 Carrera convertible awaits you at RNR Classics! With its registration valid until March 28, 2026, you can jump right in and hit the open road without a moment's hesitation!
