1972 | Porsche 911 2.4 T "Oilflap"

In den Jahren 1971 und 1972 wurden knapp 10.000 Porsche 911 T, E und S des 2,4 Liter E-Modells als später so genannte Ölklappenmodelle produziert. Bei diesen Fahrzeugen saß der Einfüllstutzen für das Öl statt im Motorraum unter einer Klappe außen an der rechten B-Säule. Mit dem Modelljahr 1973 verschwand die Ölklappe wieder, angeblich auch, weil sowohl Besitzer als auch Tankwarte in Unkenntnis Benzin in den vermeintlichen Kraftstofftank füllten, was Motorschäden zur Folge gehabt haben soll. 



Dieses Matching-Numbers-Fahrzeug wurde auf allerhöchstem Niveau und mit höchstem Sachverstand komplett neu aufgebaut und beim Restaurationsurgestein Stimming in Bad Segeberg komplettiert. Herzstück dieses Ausnahme-911 ist das Triebwerk, das beim Spezialisten für luftgekühlte Porschetriebwerke Manfred Rugen auf 2.7 RS-Spezifikationen gebracht wurde wie schon beim legendären 2.7 RS bildete das 2.4er Triebwerk die Basis für die 210 PS starke Legende. Ein Manfred Rugen Antriebsstrang ist über jeden Zweifel erhaben und ist standfest in allen Lebens- und Leistungslagen. Das Fahrzeug wurde behutsam und durch erfahrene Hand eingefahren und präsentiert sich mit nur 6.000 km im Ausnahmezustand. Ein angepasstes Fahrwerk und Bremsanlage machen diese Ölklappe zu einem absoluten Einzelstück, das so kaum ein zweites Mal zu finden sein wird.

The oil flap disappeared again with the 1973 model year, allegedly also because both owners and petrol station attendants filled petrol into the supposed fuel tank in ignorance, which is said to have resulted in engine damage.



This matching-numbers vehicle was completely rebuilt to the very highest standard and with the utmost expertise and completed by the restoration mastermind Stimming in Bad Segeberg. At the heart of this exceptional 911 is the engine, which was brought up to 2.7 RS specifications by Manfred Rugen, the specialist for air-cooled Porsche engines - as with the legendary 2.7 RS, the 2.4 engine formed the basis for the 210 hp legend. A Manfred Rugen drivetrain is beyond reproach and is stable in all life and performance situations. The vehicle has been carefully run in by experienced hands and presents itself in exceptional condition with only 6,000 km. An adapted chassis and brake system make this oil flap an absolutely unique piece that will hardly be found a second time.
