The Porsche 911 is a sports car from Porsche and the successor to the Porsche 356.The Porsche 911, known as the “Neunelfer” or just “911,” is the Stuttgart company's best-known vehicle and is considered the epitome of the brand.

Porsche presented what was later called the “original model” in September 1963 at the IAA in Frankfurt am Main under its internal development number as the Porsche 901. However, the name had to be changed shortly after the start of sales in November 1964 because Peugeot had secured the rights to all three-digit numbers with the “0” in the middle as the name for its car models.

Facts:

The restoration was carried out with a complete replacement body of the same period and many new parts, as well as a complete replacement engine, all NOS.

The gearbox is the original one from the first delivery.

The engine was at 5600km at Manfred Rugen-Motorenbau, Hepstedt

fully serviced, perfectly adjusted and a performance chart was created on the engine test bench.
