Description

One of two Formula 2 MK12 Merlyn's, Chassis no.109. Built in 1968 for Gerard's of Leicester. Entered in the European F2 events by Gerard's and also in the UK in the Libre events for Julian Gerard and David Powell with some success. Chassis 109 was retained and driven by Brian Hart for most of the 1969 season. Midway through the season at Hockenheim Hart switched to the Gerard Brabham and Peter Gaydon took over as driver of the Merlyn but unfortunately crashed before finishing. The car returned to Merlyn in August 69 and upgraded to 12A specification with a new chassis, body and fuel tanks. Well documented history. Small spares package. Arriving soon.
