Colour blue metallic combined with a grey leatherette ‘tex’ interior, grey carpet, and a dark blue hood. The car comes complete with the original hard top in body colour. The car is still completely to factory specifications with matching numbers and colours. The factory decals are still present. This 300 SL is a European model which was sold new to a Mr. Volckmann in Germany. A copy of the 1st owners old ID is present, as is the original set of booklets that came with the car, and the original delivery letter! The service book is filled out and stamped during the service intervals. In the year 2006 the Mercedes-Benz was imported to the Netherlands where the car was enjoyed and cherished by two consecutive owners. From new this 300 SL has driven 130.687 kilometres. The car is in a very good and super original condition! The bodywork is completely sound, the paint is wonderful and the chrome/ stainless steel parts are brilliant! The original interior is in a near pristine condition with only the slightest traces of previous use. The six cylinder in-line engine runs smooth and powerful, the automatic 4-speed gearbox shifts perfectly, and the car steers and brakes superbly. The car is fitted with a steering wheel with leather rim, the original Becker Mexico radio (including original operating instructions), the original MB alloy wheels shod with very good Fulda Carat tyres around, and it comes with a never used original spare wheel and the original tool set.
