Description

With the 230 SL – known as the “Pagoda” because of the shape of its hardtop – Mercedes-Benz boldly launched a new generation of sports cars in 1963. The W 113 model series, from the 250 SL to the 280 SL, was a great success. A total of 48,912 units of all variants were built.

Our Mercedes-Benz 280 SL Roadster in the classic color scheme was delivered to the USA. The Kienle company overhauled the classic in the early 1990s, and it was later serviced at the Mercedes-Benz Hanover branch. The classic is registered in Germany. This sports car, which is over 50 years old, has enough power to keep up very well in today’s traffic and offers great driving pleasure on country roads, especially when driven open-top.
