Both cars clearly had family ties and were sensational models for that time. And that never changed after that. The 190 SL has a reliable four-cylinder 1.9 liter inline engine in the front that produces more than 100 hp. The four-speed gearbox shifts smoothly and the rear-wheel drive car is lively to drive.
