Maserati specialized in racing cars until 1947, then in luxurious, sporty street cars for enthusiasts. From the race track to the street.

The Maserati Mistral is a master class Italian sports car.
This lively vehicle was developed by the manufacturer Maserati under the direction of Giulio Alfieri and star designer Pietro Frua and produced from 1963 to 1970. By then, a total of 948 copies had rolled off the assembly line. This version, known internally as Tipo AM 109, was built in two different versions, as is usual with Maserati: 844 units as a coupe and 124 units as a cabriolet.
The 6-cylinder in-line engine typical of Maserati with a displacement of 4.0 liters has been installed in this luxury class series since 1966. The Mistral was the last model of its kind. All later Maserati vehicles are equipped with 6- or 8-cylinder V-engines.

The vehicle we offer was delivered by the manufacturer to its first owner in France. The Maserati drove exclusively in France until 2012, when a German Maserati enthusiast bought it from a French collector from Alsace. Since then it has been owned by the family in Germany and has only been driven a little.

Extensive technical repairs have been carried out in our company in summer 2022:

• Braking system:  revised the brake calipers on the front and rear axles, replaced the handbrake cables, remade the brake lines,
• all landing gear bushings replaced,
• wheel bearings on front and rear axle replaced,
• revised steering,
• tie rod ends replaced,
• engine inspection carried out,
• Lukas injection system repaired,
• revised ignition system and valve settings,
• cardan shaft bearing replaced,
• gearbox sealed,
• Clutch master and slave cylinder renewed.

In addition, the Maserati received new front and rear bumpers in the past. In addition, the headlights were renewed.

The interior is in original condition and presents itself with the corresponding patina, i.e. cracks and abrasions in the leather of the seats, color deviations in the interior and signs of wear.
The paintwork is in good to used condition with minor damage.
The Mistral is technically in good condition.

The full acceptance according to §21, as well as the basic requirement for the approval as a historic vehicle were carried out.
