Description

Unique Handcrafted Prototype on Lamborghini Basis

This one-of-a-kind handcrafted prototype from 1972 is a true rarity, built on the basis of a 1971 Lamborghini Jarama GT 400. A vehicle with an extraordinary history and breathtaking design, embodying the spirit of the legendary Bizzarrini race cars.

The project was commissioned for Alexandra Morelli, the business partner of Giotto Bizzarrini, who also built the only existing Bizzarrini Stradale Targa. The goal was to create a car resembling Bizzarrini’s P 538 race car, but with a front engine instead of the mid-engine layout of the Bizzarrini P 538.

Only three cars were built, all slightly different, each based on a Lamborghini chassis with a V12 engine and featuring handcrafted aluminum bodies. The legendary Giancarlo Guerra, known for building most of the Ferrari 250 GTOs, was responsible for the construction.

🚀 The First of Its Kind – A True Automotive Sculpture
This was the first prototype, which remained in the possession of Mr. Morelli and was never fully completed. Initially designed as a fastback coupe with a targa roof (featured in the renowned "Bizzarrini" book), it was later transformed into a Barchetta.

Drivable & Road-Registered
The car is in running condition but was never entirely finished. It now has historical German papers and can be legally registered for road use in Germany.

🎨 Personalization Opportunity
The car requires painting and a service, allowing you to finish it in your preferred color.

📍 Location & Viewing
The vehicle is located in Austria, and test drives can be arranged upon request.

This is a one off handbuilt  prototype  based on a Lambo Jamara Gt 400 1971 done in 1972

The work was done for the Buisnesspartner of Gitto Bizzarrini  , Alexandra Morelli  based on a almost new Jamara back than . Morelli also did the only existing  Bizzarini Stradale Targa

The car should look like one of Bizzarrinins P 538 Racecars but with  front engine instead  of mid engined Lambo Bizzarrini P 538

3 cars were built  all look a bit different all based on Lambo frames and V 12 engines .All in Aluminium done by  well known man of Scaglietti ,Giancarlo Guerra who did most of the 250 GTO cars

This was the first  of them ( this one) never quite finished and always  stayed  in Mr  Morellis hands

First done as a Fastback Coupe with Targa Roof

( seen in the picture of  the BIZZARRINI Book the genius behind Ferraris 250GTO)

Converted to a barchetta  during the process

The car is in running condition but was never quite finished,

It now has historic german papers and can be legally registerd for street use in Germany

It still needs  finishing work, and a service , so you can paint it in our own faforite colour

The car car is located in Austria  , a test drive is possible  with apointment
