The first XJ was launched in 1968 and the designation has been used for successive Jaguar flagship models ever since. The original model was the last Jaguar saloon to have had the input of Sir William Lyons, the company's founder. With the introduction of the X308 generation in 1997 came a switch from the 'XJ6' nomenclature to 'XJ8', reflecting the fact that the X308 cars were powered by a new V8 engine. In 2007 the X308 was facelifted and internal designation changed to X358 with a revised front grille, deleted mid-door trim and slightly redesigned front fenders and vehicle electronics systems were updated.

This stunning late Petrol 3.0 litre X358 facelift XJ is presented in Anthracite with a metallic fleck with contrasting beige leather trim and 20" BBS alloy wheels, one of the very last XJ's produced before being replaced by the X351.
