Description

A Cool Classic of Cool Classics: the Jaguar E-type Series 1 convertible.

The Jaguar E-type Series 1 OTS 3.8. A car from a time when smoking was still healthy, television had only one channel. The most important thing from that era; a time when driving was still truly driving, without aids or sensation-enhancing trickery!

The design of the Series 1 has been praised to this day, and Enzo Ferrari already called it the most beautiful car ever made. If you walk around the MoMA in New York City today (Museum of Modern Art), you will inevitably come across this car; the OTS Series 1 E-type. This E-type is enchanting and could easily belong in the museum. The perfect chrome stands out against the glossy British Racing Green paint, and the distinctive beautiful Series 1 interior with black leather. A car that is not elevated to art, but is art itself. Form over function, but damn functional and fun!

In 2012, it came to Oslo with a passionate restorer who meticulously restored the car to perfection himself. Every aspect of the car was carefully selected, thoroughly examined, and restored with mastery. The restorer, a true perfectionist, even wrote his rationale for each photo. His pursuit of perfection has truly paid off. A true masterpiece. In 2023, the car underwent comprehensive maintenance again, with the same passion and dedication put into the restoration, ensuring it remains in optimal condition.
