Thunderbird Special 390 & Cruise-o-Matic

Continental Kit

Impco LPG installation

This beautiful Thunderbird from 1964 is a Swiss car with a speedometer in kilometers instead of miles. In the Netherlands since 2000 and has had 1 owner. Excellent state of maintenance. Beautiful paint, chrome and leather interior. Tight and cool bodywork and the underside is also damage-free and cool. The white convertible top disappears electrically into the trunk. Equipped with the so-called ‘sport tonneau’ to cover the rear seat. This four-seater then becomes a pure two-seater with a real ‘jet-age’ look! Of course equipped with the 300 hp 390 V8 and Cruise-O-Matic gearbox. Drives great on both LPG and petrol. The ‘Swing-Away steering wheel’ makes it easier to get into the ‘contour seats’ upholstered in light leather. Dark blue carpet and mats. Well-maintained in the trunk and engine compartment. As extra options, this Thunderbird has a ‘continental spare tire kit’ and ‘fender skirts’. Dutch registration.
