Description

"Tom Selleck: "Owning a Ferrari isn’t just about having a fast car—it’s about owning a piece of automotive art."

The 1970s were a turbulent period in Maranello. Ferrari had to respond to the rising competition from Lamborghini (with the Countach) and Porsche (with the 911 Turbo). The era of large V12s gave way to more compact, V8-powered sports cars. Ferrari needed to answer the challenge—and what an answer it was: the Ferrari 308 GTS.

At the Cool Classic Club, we have an exceptional example in our Clubhuys: a 1978 Ferrari 308 GTS, originally delivered in the United States. This example has undergone a full Nut & Bolt restoration. Every detail of the car has been meticulously rebuilt, with special attention given to its mechanics.

Since finding its way to the Netherlands, a dedicated owner was ready to welcome it with open arms. A restoration project of this caliber requires true craftsmanship, which is why the car was completely rebuilt by specialists. In 2024, the car was officially registered in the Netherlands. After the first break-in miles, the final refinements and improvements were made, eliminating any minor issues, making this Ferrari an absolute masterpiece.

Are you ready to shift the dog-leg gearbox smoothly from second to third, while the roaring V8 behind you comes to life, giving you that thrilling push in the back? This is pure, authentic driving pleasure. And we haven’t even talked about the stunning design lines yet… simply irresistible.

The team at Cool Classic Club is happy to assist you!

"Ferrari: Unleashing power, igniting passion."
