In perfect condition, this genuine Elva MKII is confirmed by Elva Founder Frank Nichols to be one of the first MKII’s built. It has an important and extensive period racing history by Elva racing driver Chuck Dietrich, among others.

The Elva MKII was a period competitor for cars like the Lola MK1 and Lotus 11, but this didn’t stop this particular MKII from beating much more powerful machinery like the Ferrari 750 Monza, Maserati Tipo 61 Birdcage, Aston Martin DB3S, Ferrari 500TR and many others, both in period and in more recent years.

This particular example must be one of the only Elva race cars with valid EU-road registration, rendering it equally suitable for historic rallying. The body is finished in bare polished aluminium.
