Der Jaguar Daimler Double Six XJ81 wurde in den späten 1980er Jahren als Teil der XJ-Serie von Jaguar eingeführt. Die XJ-Serie, die erstmals 1968 auf den Markt kam, war bekannt für ihre Kombination aus Luxus, Leistung und innovativer Technik. Der XJ81, der 1994 bis 1997 produziert wurde, war eine Weiterentwicklung des XJ40 und stellte eine neue Generation von Jaguar-Limousinen dar.

Der Double Six XJ81 war mit einem 6,0-Liter-V12-Motor ausgestattet, der eine beeindruckende Leistung und ein sanftes Fahrverhalten bot.
