My DS was first registered in Delmenhorst on July 8, 1975, sold in 1988 and re-registered in Delmenhorst on February 1, 1988. According to my seller, it then stood in a garage for several years (deregistered?) and was re-registered in Bremen on June 7, 1999 in accordance with § 27.7 StVZO. On March 4, 2002, it was re-registered for the last owner before me. I acquired the DS on June 6, 2013.

In the 12 years since then, I have had the classic car extensively but carefully restored. All of the main work was carried out in specialist workshops, so that the Classic Data appraisals available can always determine a significant increase in value. I placed particular emphasis on a refurbishment and restoration appropriate to the age of the vehicle, but not on a complete rebuild. According to the current Classic Data report, the DS has been given a 2+ for the condition assessment (see attached report). The DS is now almost 50 years old and is not a new vehicle.

The regular maintenance and checks of the engine and its units have resulted in very smooth engine running and favorable fuel consumption (Super+) of between 9.5 and 10.5 L/100 km, which is not necessarily usual for these models.  Receipts with mileage are available.

A few years ago, I had the exhaust system replaced with a stainless steel system. As a result, there is no rust damage or leaks.

I have always seen the large Britax folding roof, which almost fills the entire roof, as a very special advantage. Summer rides with the roof and windows open are simply incomparably beautiful. At best, they would be surpassed by a convertible. The folding roof is tight.

I have driven the DS accident-free. The seller confirmed to me at the time that there was no known accident damage in the past.

The DS still has its original engine. I bought it with 93,500 km on the clock. The gearbox was replaced in 2016 after damage.

Over the last few years (2020 and 2021), I have had the entire interior (seats, door panels, carpet, headlining) replaced. In doing so, it was possible to replace the fabrics and leather elements (on the door panels and on the armrest between the seats) in their model-appropriate materials and colors.

I also had seat belts fitted in the rear. The DS was already prepared with the attachment points for the belts. There are automatic seat belts on the left and right and a lap belt in the middle.

The underbody and wheel arches have been restored and fitted with underbody protection and stone chip protection in the wheel arches (see last photo). D

All invoices, as far as relevant for a new owner, are available to me and can be handed over.

The last TÜV was on 23.12.2023. A current Classic-Data report was issued on 21.01.2025.

The DS has become a collector's item. In this respect, I would be delighted if it could come back into similar hands. Score 2+
