Description
The car industry in Bremen/Germany began as early as 1900. There were the Hansa-Werke in Varel since 1905, the “Norddeutsche Automobil- und Motoren Aktiengesellschaft” (NAMAG) with is Lloyd brand, and in 1928 a then 38-year old Carl F.W. Borgward started the “Goliath-Werke”. In the following years, Borgward dominated all car activities in the Bremen region and starting in 1938 he built cars in a super modern factory in Bremen-Sebaldsbrück. The “Isabella” became the “patriarch’s” success model. The famous Isabella Coupé, meant as a unique model for Ms Borgward, crowned the series. The body shop Deutsch in Cologne was a specialist in the transformation of elegant cars into convertible and apparently 9 such Isabella Cabriolets were built.
Our Isabella Cabriolet was built in 2014 following the design blue print by Deutsch and it’s high end work was done by Bosman Classics in the Netherlands. Now you can buy this dream convertible from the famous Borgward Isabella series!
