The BMW 3.0 CSI, produced between 1971 and 1975, is one of the most iconic models in BMW’s legendary coupé lineup. It combined beautiful styling by Karmann with advanced engineering for its time, the 3.0 CSI featured a fuel-injected 3.0-liter inline-six engine that delivered smooth, responsive performance. Renowned for its balance of luxury and sportiness, it remains a highly sought-after classic.

Exterior: The exterior of this BMW 3.0 CSI is in a beautiful shade of blue called Nachtblau. The paint of the car holds a very high standard with clear body lines and well-aligning body panels. The exterior has undergone a larger restoration with inner and outer rocker panels and new floors. Of course, the car is today completely corrosion-free. All the car's exterior trim pieces are also in great condition, with the chrome holding a high standard and many of the stainless pieces being new. The car sits on its restored original 14-inch wheels with new tires, and the car has a nice suspension stance.

Interior: Inside, the BMW E9 3.0 CSI has a light grey leather interior. The seats have been excellently reupholstered in very nice, soft, high-quality leather. The light color of the interior makes the cabin feel very roomy, and the seats are very comfortable. All interior trim pieces, such as the chrome on the door cards and the trim around the seats, are also in great condition. The car also has a nice new headliner. It is equipped with all power windows and an electrically operated sunroof. Carpets inside the car have also been replaced and are in nice condition. The E9 is a practical and usable grand tourer with comfortable rear seats and a large rear trunk.

Engine and Mechanics: Mechanically, this BMW 3.0 CSI is great. The 6-cylinder, 3-liter engine has a great exhaust note and feels very powerful. The engine is paired with a nice, smooth four-speed transmission. Steering is servo-assisted and nice and light, but still feels connected. The brakes have recently been restored with new calipers and discs on all four corners. The car has also recently received a thorough service.

History and Documentation: This BMW E9 3.0 CSI also comes with great history and impressive documentation. The car was sold new in Sweden and has had four private owners since new. It comes with every MOT paper and lots of service records dating back to the 1970s. It also has all recent invoices from the car’s restoration, where many new parts were fitted. Finally, the car comes with two sets of keys, a spare wheel, and a complete original tool set.
