Description

BMW achieved its breakthrough with the “New Class”, i.e. the modern four-door models. The 1500, 1600, 1800 and 2000 models covered all customer requirements. Based on this, BMW launched the 02 series of petite two-door models. The sporty character and external inconspicuousness helped this series to great success. A convertible with a fully retractable soft top was presented at the IAA in Frankfurt. The beautiful car, of which only 1,682 were produced, was once again built by the specialist Baur in Stuttgart. Something like this in good condition is rarely on offer today.

Our BMW 1600-2 Baur Cabriolet was owned by a BMW enthusiast and collector for a long time. Many trips are documented. The total mileage is only approx. 120,000 km. A defective speedometer was replaced in the meantime. This classic car is visually and technically in good condition.

EXTRAS: Brake booster; 5-speed gearbox; Tyres: 185/70×13
