Description

A Bentley Special, it is in of itself something of a pleonasm for all Bentley's are themselves special cars however the term Bentley Special is widely attributed to those that started life as a MK VI and have subsequently been recommissioned in the style of a pre-war Bentley

We are extremely enthusiastic exponents of such Bentley's and have over the years handled the sale of a great many examples. We do therefore consider ourselves somewhat qualified when it comes to assessing such cars

When we were first approached by our friends and colleagues from Belrose Classics to work together with them as their distributor we were naturally cautious but after visiting their facilities in Belgium and seeing first hand the level of care and attention that goes into each car our excitement was accelerated and we could not wait to begin our association

No sooner had we finished our tour handshakes were had and we had formed a team

The car photographed here is Justine, so named after the daughter of the Belrose team and an excellent example of a bespoke motorcar having been penned by a designer now at BMW

Designed over thousands of hours to evoke the feelings and emotions of pre-war Bentleys' she is not to be mistaken for a replica but is a bespoke design paying homage to the marque

Every feature has been painstakingly thought out and executed with the highest attention to detail

Safety is of course considered with the twin reinforced fuel tanks situated at the central point of the chassis where they are most protected in the event of any accident

Convenience too is high on the agenda featuring a soft top that can be put up or down by the driver whilst moving along using only one arm in only a matter of seconds, the rear screen of the soft top can be removed for better air flow when on tours in particularly hot climates

The overall design is obviously sublime but the charm of Justine does not stop there....

Much in the same way as with a Savile Row suit Justine is to be tailored to you

The car you see here is our demonstrator which we seriously encourage you to come and drive after which we shall accompany you over to Belgium where the real fun starts

As a coach built car every specification you can think of can be accommodated, be that air conditioning, heated seats, GPS, sundym glass, exterior gear selector, veneer facia or tuned aluminium, quilted leather, Champagne fridge etc etc

The list is truly endless right up to using the same cows that produce the hide for the interior to create bespoke luggage for the car

A bespoke seat fitting will be on the agenda to when not only will the correct shape and size be factored in but also the sort of driving you intend to use her for
