It is rare to find a stylish, open-top automobile in which four people can travel in the utmost comfort and with perfect lines. The Bentley Azure, produced between 1995 and 2003, was the fastest and most expensive four-seater convertible in the world at the time. Based on the Continental R, the Azure not only impresses with its powerful appearance in conjunction with the V8 engine with a displacement of 6.75 l and 389 hp, but also with finely embossed leather and high-gloss lacquered wood accents in the interior.

From 1999, the Bentley Azure range was extended to include an exclusive Mulliner version manufactured to customer specifications. Mulliner still offers exceptional luxury at Bentley today and stands for unique and personalized craftsmanship in the automotive world. A total of 155 units of the Bentley Azure Mulliner were produced, which, in addition to the individualized interior, impress with their more powerful engine with 426 hp and 875 Nm, the front bumper with wire mesh inserts, the Matrix radiator grille and the larger 18" tyres. Only 28 of the 155 units were turned into the special Wide Body model, which features wider wheel arches and side skirts.

The Bentley Azure Mulliner Wide Body offered here was delivered to the Bentley dealer in Madrid in August 1999. The exclusivity and refinement by Mulliner can be traced from the chassis number. The Magnolia exterior color is a tribute to the Bentley R-Type Continental from 1952, which was also the fastest four-seater in the world at the time. Matching the exterior color, the interior is also in Magnolia, paired with brown accents. Other special features include the eight centrally positioned additional instruments with red start button in Continental T style, the extensive leather upholstery, the perforated pedals, the rear parking warning system and the veneer in root oak. With just under 8,400km, this Azure Mulliner Wide Body is in a well-kept condition and will not be found again in this form. Only in 2023, at 8,047km, was an extensive service carried out at the Bentley dealer at a cost of over €10,000.
