Description

Chassis B41GP was tested on June 1936 and it is one of the late 3.25 Litre. Originally with engine number W6BLX it is written on the factory records that this engine was change due to mechanical problems in 1940 by the actual 4.25 Litre with number B6BN.

Delivered to its first owner, Commodore Louis Beaumont at his house in the Côte d`Azur. It is believed that the car was for his wife Hélène. Born in 1894, she trained in her early years as an opera singer, making her debut in London in 1917. Her opera career was not long lived, and soon she became the second wife of Louis Beaumont, a department stores magnate and one of the founders of the May Company, one of the most important department stores at the time. The marriage was famous for their parties at Villa Eilenroc in Cap-d´Anibes, and their art and jewels collection were famous for its quality.

This elegant Bentley remained in an italian collection for decades in very good general condition, in regular use over the years  and  maintained without regard to expense, until the car was bought by its last owner, an Australian collector living in Spain, in whose collection the Bentley share garage with cars like Hispano-Suiza, Rolls-Royce or Isotta-Fraschini to name a few.

Now its avaiable in Madrid, with Spanish registration and ready to drive.
