Description

Austin Healey Mark 3 fully restored.
This BJ8 has been meticulously restored and is in superb condition. The chassis and body have been treated and are rust-free. During this restoration, both rear fenders were replaced with aluminum examples. The new paint is as per the original, as confirmed by its "British Motor Heritage" certificate that accompanies the vehicle.

The interior is brand new and in black vinyl, just like the original. It also comes with a new mohair soft top and matching top cover. The new wooden dashboard, gear knob, and Moto-Lita steering wheel give it a very elegant character. You will also find a kill switch on the center console and a set of OMP harnesses to enhance the "rally" look and your safety. The steering column has been modified/equipped with power steering from EZ Electric. In addition to the aluminum rear fenders, the vehicle has been fitted with an aluminum fuel tank located in the trunk under the spare wheel. New spare wheel, tires, and toolkit.

As for the exterior, the Healey has a rally look, featuring wire wheels with center lock nuts and fitted with Vredestein Sprint Classic tires. The chrome is either new or in excellent condition. The grille is an aluminum rally-style grille with two additional headlights mounted underneath. The 2912cc engine has also undergone a few modifications, the most important being the replacement of the cylinder head with an aluminum version to reduce weight and improve performance. This cylinder head is equipped with three Weber carburetors of the 45DCOE type. The entire suspension is new (including leaf springs) and has been upgraded with adjustable Spax shock absorbers. A stainless steel exhaust completes the car's look. The Austin Healey presented here is the perfect blend for the classic British car enthusiast who wants to enjoy both leisurely drives and rally participation.
