Description

Transmission: 5 gears, Manual gearbox
Registration number: AM-06-28

The Aston Martin DBS is one chunk of British distinguished brutality. The car more than lives up to its tough looks thanks to a 5.4 liter V8 that delivers 320 hp. The engine is fuel-injected and makes every ride in the Aston Martin DBS unforgettable. This example has been with the same owner for the past 13 years and well maintained at the time. The car has always been neatly stored indoors and is therefore in beautiful condition. What is also very noteworthy is the fact that this is a car with the beloved manual transmission. In total, only 289 copies of the DBS were made, of which only 32 with the steering wheel on the left.

The exterior is therefore in beautiful and original condition. The sheet metal is completely original and fits neatly everywhere. The front is dominated by the huge front spoiler and the four headlights. The hood is beautifully flat and didn't need an extra intake as the DBS is fuel-injected. The car is on the original wheels, which are also in very good condition and fitted with good tires in the correct sizes. The rear stands out because of the beautifully integrated ducktail spoiler and the bumper in which the exhausts are incorporated. The paint has already been repainted for cosmetic reasons and still looks neat with only some light signs of use.

The interior is very original and upholstered in black leather on the seats and black carpets. When you open the door, you immediately notice that this is a manual transmission. The wooden poker sticks proudly out of the dashboard. The dashboard and instrumentation are beautifully designed and include a range of different instruments and controls that all function as they should. This DBS started life as a right-hand drive car and was later professionally converted to a left-hand drive version. Although the DBS was the roughest of all Aston Martin V8 models, the car does have air conditioning and wonderfully comfortable driving characteristics.

The technology has recently been provided with very extensive maintenance. The engine therefore runs very well. The transmission shifts precisely. It is also striking that the gearbox ratios are geared to sporty driving but also to cover long distances. The first gears are quite short, but the last gear is a real overdrive gear to make traveling long distances not a tiring affair. The 5.4 liter V8 has more than enough torque to easily do its job even at low speeds. The undercarriage has firm suspension but still very comfortable and communicates well with the driver what the wheels are doing. The brakes are more than powerful enough to quickly shake off the gained speed and can be dosed well.

The car comes with some general documentation and is ready for many kilometers of unlimited Aston Martin DBS driving pleasure. In short, a beautiful and above all very rare Aston Martin DBS V8 in Vantage specification.
