Our truly exceptional 1970 Aston Martin DB6 MKII is one of the rarest and most desirable models in the iconic DB series, with only 245 ever built. This specific example, completed on December 16, 1970, is the third from last to leave the factory, making it a significant piece of Aston Martin history. Finished in its stunning original Pale Primrose Yellow with a beautifully restored Ebony Black Connolly leather interior, it comes with a host of rare, period-correct options, including special-order chrome wire wheels, automatic transmission, passenger headrest, and a Radiomobile radio with an 8-track entertainment system.
The car’s provenance is impeccable, having been supplied new by H.R. Owen in London and spending 20 years with its first owner before passing to its second, who cherished it for another 27 years. After its time in Switzerland with its third owner, this Aston Martin is now available in the UK with a Historic Registration. The car underwent a comprehensive £40,000 mechanical overhaul, ensuring it is in top mechanical condition and ready to be driven and enjoyed.
Key mechanical work included overhauling the fuel system, carburetors, suspension, braking system, and exhaust, as well as addressing electrical issues to ensure everything functions as it should. The original Connolly leather has been expertly restored, and brand-new Wilton carpets have been custom-made to match the car's heritage.
The DB6 MKII is often regarded as the pinnacle of the DB series, benefiting from continuous technical developments since the DB4, and this particular example, with its rarity, originality, and flawless presentation, represents superb value for money. With just 235 MKIIs built, it’s significantly rarer than the DB5, making it a highly sought-after collector's item. Whether you're looking to add a unique piece to your collection or seeking a classic grand tourer that’s ready to take on new adventures, this DB6 is a remarkable opportunity.
Don't miss your chance to own this stunning, historically significant Aston Martin DB6 MKII—it's on the button, road-ready, and awaiting its next adventure across the Alps!
