The 1933 style Vanden Plas body is equipped with large instruments in the dashboard and larger doors, "cut through", for better access. Only 32 cars of this exact type were built. According to the Alvis Register, only 7 of these 32 vehicles are known to exist in the world.

Under the long hood hides a powerful six-cylinder engine which was revised in 2016 by the company Hagenlocher for over 20,000 euros and which gives the Alvis Speed 20 SA its "speed".
