This car was sold new in Japan and led a good life in a dry climate. In the 00's the car was imported into Sweden and was bought by Oldenzaal Classics earlier this year. A proper and good car where a lot was invested, more on that below.

Thanks to it's Japan origin the body is beautiful and very original. No rust, no signs or welding and wearing mostly original paint. Beautiful Mauritiusblue with Silver 'Dekosatz' Alpina striping. The interior is in great condition. Original Alpina cloth on the seats, also the original Alpina floormats are present. The headliner has been reupholstered in black cloth. The doorpanels had shrunk a bit and these were reupholstered in genuine B3 Alpina fabric. Furthmore a dashboard in great condition, the A/C blowing cold and a Bavaria radio present.

The engine is the original for this car, number 108. Alpina stroked the base 325i M50 2,5 liter to 3,0 liters and producing a very liniear 250 horsepower. After years of sitting we have done a more than major service. Basically a technical restoration. New waterpump, thermostat, aluminium thermostat housing, rebuilt VANOS, Anti-rattle kit installed, sparkplugs, fuel-injectors ultrasonic cleaned and tested, fuel pressure regulator, all filters, all fluids, Oil-filter housing valve replaced, dipstick o-rings replaced and much more.

The factory A/C has been repaired and serviced. Now blows ice cold. The original set of Alpina 17 inch wheels has been sent away for restoration, looking beautiful with new Alpina emblems. Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tyres have been installed. The braking system was complete redone. New rotors in the front and back with new pads, new brake hoses, new brakefluid. Brake calipers repainted and rebuilt.

The undercarriage is very clean and very original. Showing no rust, no repairs and clean floors. The suspension was replaced completely. New shock absorbers (Bilstein) in the front and rear. New dustcovers, new topmounts front + rear. Ofcourse the Alpina-Eibach springs were kept. New control arms in the front and PU bushings. It features a new power steering pump, new power steering reservoir, new fluid, new steering coupler, new tie-rods, covers and new alignment.

The fuel tank was dropped and all 1994 lines and hoses were replaced with new. The fuel level sender was replaced and the filter is new. On the outside lots of improvement too. Doorhandles repainted and the gaskets replaced. New seals around the front and rear windows. Repainted wiperarms and new wipers, new Alpina emblem + B3 3.0 emblem. New license plate lights and new taillight seals. The LCD screen of the OBC was replaced the Alpian Front bumper was repainted and new Silver Alpina striping was installed.

The car was properly test driven and 'shaken down'. A very light and nimble car that handles great.
