Race car Appendix K with valid FIA HTP until 2032
Description
This lovely and very well built race car originates from the Bernd Hahne Collection, who prepared it originally for Hill Climb events but never used it much, as far as I understand. We bought it back in 2020 right out of that collection and have been racing it in the Histo Cup series for the past few years. The car won the Appendix K Championship in the 1600ccm class in 2022 and 2023!
The car has been revised after the last season and is therefore sold in ready-to-race condition. We have since also swapped the the glass side and rear windows for much lighter lexan panels. The originals will be handed over with the car as they are undamaged and in very good condition.
The original Alfa Romeo "north" engine has been built with the help of Formula GT and produces 145PS (143bhp) at the flywheel, with a capacity of exactly 1599.6ccm. It pulls strongly from about 3000rpm and realy gets into its stride at about 5000rpm. This engine revvs up to 9000rpm and sounds amazing while doing so. It is realy very healthy and smooth!
The car comes with two 5-speed gearboxes, both prepared according to the HTP and both in good condition. A second rear axle with diff is also included.
Seat, belts and FT3 fuel cell (45L) are valid until 2026.
The suspension and brakes are of course also built to HTP homologation standards and expertly set up for maximum traction. A Tilton reduction valve is fitted to the rearward brake circuit, so that the brake balance can be adjusted to the drivers liking. We have been running a whole season with the same set of Pagid brake pads and the Tarox brake discs do not show much sign of wear either. Spare pads and discs are included in the sales price of the car. A set of semislick tires can last for a whole weekend.
The car comes with two sets of Alfaholics 15" magnesium wheels and a third set of aluminium 5-spoke 15" wheels. We also have a few unused Nankang semislicks left and will be including them in the sales price of the car.
With all that said, you are getting a ready-to-race car that is really fast and competitive and a hell of a lot of fun to drive. The spares included will last you for at least one season and the second gearbox and rear axle allow for alternate configurations depending on track layout and usage.
The HTP is valid up until 2032!
