The word ‘exotic’ is often applied to many Italian classic cars which speak of wealth, taste and power with ‘wow factor’ styling. They seldom fail to illicit strong emotional responses wherever they go.

Without doubt the names Lamborghini and Ferrari are at the top of marques famous for producing classics. When Lamborghini introduced the Countach in 1971 it was the fastest and most outrageously styled Italian supercar ever produced. This is a 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO, without doubt one of the most beautiful and rare Italian classic cars. Alfa Romeo has produced everything from beautiful exotic roadsters such as the 1930 6C 1750 GS to everyday saloons like the Giulia that were so popular with Italian police in the 1960s. In between are a number of medium to higher priced sports cars such as the Alfetta, Spider Veloce and GTV.
