The 1998 XKR was introduced with a supercharged version of the engine. Both the XK8 and XKR are electronically limited to a maximum of 155mph, the top speed of its predecessor, the XJS V12, being 158mph. Self-levelling xenon headlamps came as standard with the XKR with Jaguar's adaptive cruise control as an optional feature available on both models. Both come with all leather interior, burr walnut trim and side airbags. This example boasting Sat Nav, heated memory front seats with electric steering adjust, cruise control, six-CD changer, front and rear factory fitted splash guards, auto lights, wipers and Brembo brakes.

This lovely well-kept example of the desirable late 4.2 litre Jaguar XKR is presented in Zircon Blue Metallic with black leather trim and walnut wood veneer and wood and leather steering wheel for that 'Blenheim Palace feel'. Upon inspecting the car, the paintwork and trim appear in very good order, the vendor confirmed everything at the time of consignment is working as it should with no issues or faults, indeed he has just serviced the car and provided a new MoT until August 2025 for the new owner. This example benefits from recent premium brand tyres all round, new headlining and, with just 49,569 miles on the odometer. It is believed the previous owner used and took the car abroad in the summers of his ownership. Much of the history has been misplaced but one look at the car provides you with much confidence, upon a workshop inspection no rust rot or welding have taken place and we are informed an 'all clear' of rust in the usual XK problem places was declared.
