Here we are offering you a beautiful BMW 700 S Cabriolet from 1967. This beautiful convertible is from the Kaltenbach collection and was completely restored in the early 1990s and then stored in a dry and warm place, which can be seen from its condition.

The BMW 700 S was registered to the Kaltenbach Automobile company in Overath as the 2nd owner and was deregistered on June 27, 1990 and is now waiting to be "revived".

The BMW 700 was originally designed as a coupe and sedan and was later expanded to include a convertible version. It was the first BMW model to be successful in the lower middle class and to appeal to a broad market.

The convertible was characterized by its elegant design, compact size and sporty driving dynamics. Under the hood was an air-cooled two-cylinder boxer engine with 697 cm³, which produced around 34 hp. This performance enabled the BMW 700 Cabrio to reach a top speed of around 120 km/h - a respectable speed for the time.

Our BMW 700 S Cabrio is one of the last of just 2,592 units produced with the increased power of 40 hp. The BMW 700 models already had 12V technology at the time.

The BMW 700 Cabrio's excellent roadholding and agile driving pleasure were particularly noteworthy. The vehicle was popular with enthusiasts as well as in motorsports, as it offered a high level of driving pleasure despite its compact dimensions. Today, the BMW 700 Cabrio is a sought-after collector's item that lovers of classic cars appreciate.
