This historic vehicle, featuring chassis number 18365 and engine type 1600VB number 7700520761, is a rare Alpine from 1973, distinguished by its elegant “Sierra blue” color 3320. Designed for the Italian market, with the designation AA102, it was commissioned by the Giada Auto team.

The car has a fascinating history: it was registered in 2015 with the original import documents dated 1974 and competed in several significant events in 1973. Among its notable participations are the 56th Targa Florio, where it raced with number 125 and pilots Paleari-Schon, the 4th Giro d'Italia with number 442 featuring Paleari and Monti, and the Tour de France, also with Paleari, competing under number 92. Additionally, it made a mark in the Euro GT Imola championship, achieving an impressive 11th place with number 58.

After a series of successful races, the vehicle was retired and, following years of neglect, it found a new owner in 2017. This owner dedicated himself to a comprehensive restoration that took nearly seven years. The car discovered disassembled. It was restored to its original Group 4 configuration, honoring its heritage. The restoration emphasized originality, using authentic parts and focusing more on the mechanics than on aesthetics, true to the spirit of racing cars.

Today, this Alpine A110 1800 GR4 is not just an example of automotive engineering but also a piece of motorsport history, presented in excellent condition and accompanied by ACI/CSAI certification. There is complete documentation of the restoration, as well as a detailed chronicle of its racing participations, all supported by vintage photographs.
