The rare large VW Karmann Ghia Type 34 came onto the market in 1961 and was always delivered with the most powerful engine and the best equipment of the parallel VW Type 3 model during its construction period.

VW advertised the large coupé on the export market as "A Ladies Sportscar" and wanted to get involved in the popular upper mid-range coupé market in this country. The timelessly beautiful appearance with a good overview and a high-quality look, the low operating forces and uncapricious mechanics spoke in favour of the large, elegant VW. However, the Karmann Ghia Type 34 was not really accepted either in the USA, the main export country, or in Germany, and so only just over 40,000 vehicles were produced in the 8 years of production. Most of them have since been reclaimed by nature, which is why good VW Karmann Ghia Type 34s are extremely rare today.

This beautiful classic car was first registered in 1964. Six years ago, the large VW Karmann Ghia Type 34 Coupé was extensively restored in Wolfsburg, is still in very good condition and impresses with its easy handling and great driving characteristics. Take this upmarket and nowadays extremely rare large classic car back to its former glory.
