1972 | Triumph TR 6 PI

Body-off restored TR6 PI Overdrive in a great condition. Restored in the Netherlands and the result is high quality in every detail.

The Triumph has been professionally painted in a beautiful bronze-grey metallic colour and the quality is of a high standard. The paint looks very nice with a deep shine. The colour is unique as the PI was specially painted in this colour at the owner's request. It looks very nice on this car and it really is a 70s classic. By the way, the underside is just as beautiful and completely painted in the colour of the car. The chassis has been restored and correctly painted black. Of course, the suspension is also in new condition and there is not a single spot of rust to be seen.

The interior is also stunning, with the dashboard newly upholstered and the counters and gauges overhauled. Very nice is also the classic Nardi steering wheel, which you hardly see anymore. New TR6 seats upholstered in real leather and alcantara have been fitted and the complete carpet set and trim panels have been renewed. The black hood was also then replaced with a beautiful and expensive mohair hood and the window is clear and scratch-free.

The fantastic 6 in line and gearbox with overdrive have been overhauled, but there are no invoices for that. The original PI engine starts perfectly both hot and cold and pulls like a bear with a nice high torque. The gearbox shifts excellent and the overdrive also works as it should. The gearbox and differential are also nice and quiet. In any case, the result is very convincing, and fairly priced too. Just look for a similar PI in this condition.
