Does the Porsche 993 remain the most beautiful Porsche ever?
It is 1993 when Porsche presents the new 911, internally referred to as 993, at the IAA Frankfurt Motor Show. For the first time, major changes have been made to the bodywork, with the headlights being flatter and more integrated into the design. The rear also becomes rounder and smoother. Visually more modern and with a new alloy subframe and new rear suspension, sportier and at the same time safer to handle than ever. The interior only receives marginal innovations, fortunately. The characteristic five large meters are therefore retained in the classic way. The engine is an evolution of the 3.6 that was already found in the predecessor.
The Porsche 993 is not only an icon because it is the last generation of 911 that was equipped with an air-cooled engine, but according to experts, it is also by far the most beautiful generation of the world-famous 911. The air-cooled engine is the foundation of Porsche's success.
Our 993, originally from Florida, with a snow-white (Grand Prix Weiss) bodywork is in very good condition. The fits are correct and the sheet metal is nice and thin. The paint is in very nice condition and has a beautiful shine. The interior is equally beautifully cared for. The blue (Midnight-blue leather) leather is in very good condition and is wonderfully supple. And that in combination with the dark blue soft top really completes the whole.
The dashboard is also beautifully cared for and is in very good and original condition. What a pleasure the sound of an air-cooled boxer engine is to listen to and that in combination with a manual gearbox is really the ultimate!
To make it even more beautiful, this 993 sits on the popular 17-inch CUP rims with the correct tires in the correct sizes. It already had many options as standard, but the first owner decided to supplement this with, among other things, AC, seat heating, blue mat set, Hi-Fi Sound, Porsche Radio/Cassette.
