Under the hood, however, things are a bit less “French,” as this Matra is powered by an engine derived from the Ford Taunus, here configured in a mid-engine layout. The exterior boasts a tidy body with a lovely paint finish and an appealing gloss. The chrome bumpers look terrific, and the wheels appear fresh. Details such as the taillights and rubber components are all in neat condition.
