1958 | Jaguar XK 150 OTS

Exterior: We have sold many Jaguar XK over the years, but I cannot remember any one of them looking as striking and flashy as this one. It has the very nice deep black paintwork and brown leather. Then, the cream on this cake is the hand built Turrino wire wheels with white wall tyres. This is a car that has been extensively restored. The goal has been to make it the most stunning and best performing Jaguar XK150 possible. This is a car that gets a lot of road presence.

Interior: In this Jaguar XK150 for sale, you will find a brown leather of the finest quality and brown carpets. All the instruments are just beautiful and all in fully working order. In the boot, it is also very neat and tidy with a spare wheel and original tools in place. The XK OTS version has a small soft top that folds down behind the front seats to make the car look very long and sleek. However, even with the top up the Jaguar looks very striking. The big adjustable (in height) rear view mirror on the dashboard gives you as a driver a very good view of what is going on behind the car. Since the car is so open, there is no need for side mirrors (in my opinion) giving it an even cleaner look.

Engine: This is a beautiful car to look at, but it is first when you drive it that you truly understand what it is all about. The 4.2l straight-six fitted with two larger SU carburetors delivers so much power that you will make even some modern cars embarrassed at the go lights. It is not only the power that will impress you, but also the perfect handling, brakes and the lack of clonks and squeaks you normally hear from cars in this time period. Mechanically, it has truly been perfected in every way.

History: According to the Jaguar Heritage Certificate, it was delivered to WW Beckner in Maryland USA on the 20th of September in 1958. In 2019, the Jaguar XK150 OTS was registered in Sweden, however it has been in the same ownership since 2016. It comes with a large pile of invoices on work carried out by reputable workshops in UK over the recent years.
