1979 | Citroën Visa Super

I am selling this 1979 Citroën Visa Super Carte Noire, freshly inspected (MFK) with veteran status in Switzerland and recently serviced. This is an original and exceptionally well-preserved special edition, produced in a limited run of 2,500 units and sold exclusively in France for one year.

The Carte Noire version stands out with its black paint, gold accents (pinstripes, roof and window trims, rear badge, and wheels), honeycomb pattern on the dashboard and ceiling, sports seats with front headrests, a rear window wiper, and a Blaupunkt radio with an antenna and built-in speakers. It was equipped with a 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine producing 57 hp, paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Thanks to this more powerful engine, the Visa remains perfectly drivable in today’s traffic. This example is completely original and includes all these features.

Originally, the Carte Noire came with gold-colored steel wheels with small chrome hubcaps—these original wheels are still present. The currently mounted sport wheels are fitted with nearly new TRX tires. This car was originally delivered in France and brought to the Netherlands in 2011 by a dedicated Citroën collector. Two years ago, I acquired the Visa from his collection and imported it to Switzerland.

As you can see in the photos, the Visa is in outstanding condition with approximately 147,000 km. It has always been stored indoors, and no effort has been spared to maintain it in top shape.
